Inspirations for Fashion Connect …
I was ultimately inspired by all the creative talent Melbourne fashion has to offer.  I wanted to create a social networking party for industry guests and of course an audience of fashionistas, which would help stimulate inspiration and create new channels for work. Ticket proceeds from the event will help raise funds for The Aids Trust of Australia.

Being part of LMFF …
Being part of LMFF is so exciting. It’s great to be involved with a stellar line-up of amazing events. I love the glamour and sophistication that Melbourne radiates during LMFF with all the fashionistas and leading Australian designers showcasing their seasonal trends and demonstrating their skills. LMFF provides me with the platform to produce and direct my own fashion events.  I get to meet young creatives and assist in building their networks within the fashion industry.

Evolving …
OC Communications & Events has experienced growth over the last five years, largely due to the success of our events. From theatrical fashion shows to avant-garde cocktail soirees that combine fashion and art whilst promoting and celebrating a new generation of talented Melbourne fashion designers, photographers, stylists, editors and bloggers.

Favourite designers …
There are so many amazing designers I love. McQueen, his designs are provoking and mind blowing. He turns ugly into the beautiful. Chanel, she’s iconic. She redefined femininity. Gaultier, he took androgynous fashion to the next level and mixed it with his own humour. Dior was dazzling, always different and pushing fashion forward.

Fashion style …
I don’t really have a certain style.  I don’t belong to a specific fashion tribe.
